Our Braes B&B "Sgiath Bhan" (Pronounced "skia van", Gaelic for Wing Down) is a completely refurbished house in the quiet and historic area of The Braes 7 miles south of Portree on the beautiful Isle of Skye and is situated only 50 metres from the shore.
We offer you a twin bedroom with ensuite shower room and adjacent sunroom / lounge for your exclusive use. There is a separate entrance for our guests and private parking.
From your private lounge you have wonderful uninterrupted views over the sea, the promontory An Aird and the Isle of Raasay's Dun Caan. The Braes is part of the Skye Trail and an ideal starting point in order to explore the island.
We serve a full continental breakfast and by prior arrangement a
light evening meal and/or packed lunch.
